Hi ,first post re nav 520 ....................
had unit for a week when in 2d mode the screen doesnt update ??? stays on original screen ,but the voice commands continue???..is there a setting i am missing ..........
Postcode Search ....... is there a download /upgrade to allow for 5 digit search The 4 digit search is poor
can someoe in the midlands type in rocky Lane,Aston,Birmingham
My unit finds 2 neither the one I want ??????

1. When in 2d mode, press ESC and the arrow follows you. This is now in Automatic mode but as soon as you touch the screen or try and move the cursor it will revert to manual. Better off in 3d.
2. No download but postcode search is UP TO 5 digits, assuming the postcode is something like AL12 3AB. In this case it will search up to the three. If the first part of the postcode is AL1 then of course the number three is only the 4th digit.
3. If Rocky Lane is the one near Lavendon Rd and Derrydown Rd, then I found it. You have to put in the area as Birmingham, not Aston. Although I would think if you put in the first part of the postcode you should also find it that way. |

the 3rd is still ???????? its not the one if you type in rupert st ,go to it rocky Lane cuts across it !!
area = Birmingham iget 8 Birminghams come up with different A roads
1 main one A38 Birmingham it gives the centre of Brum ok
street =rocky lane i get 5 brum (wrong one) ashow?bourneheath,bromsgrove,catshill
it must be a mapping error ???
