i am new to gps and have bought a garmin ique m5. what i need is some software that is gps basic were you enter waypoint co-ordinates and an arrow points to that waypoint giving measurment to etc. freeware, shareware surely there must be some basic 3rd party stuff that works on ique, i have done many searches on web without success, any help appreciated. |

when you navigate to a point chose of road go in to settings and its there.. just follow the arrow |

thanks adam but i don't want to use the garmin\mapsource stuff, a simple seperate software simillar to the basic garmin handheld units so that i could use offroad or even at sea. i don't need maps moving or still, just enter co-ordinates and point. |

just keep it basic take the sd card out so its very basic set it to least detail ang chose of road routing thats the best i can think of these units are very good for these sort of things i just bought a nuvi and want to sell my m5 it is 4 months old ?300 |

an interface like the garmin etrex is what i mean, basic and simple. |
