do you get any sound off the unit? go into voices and check to make sure you can still hear the voice alerts. _________________ Regards

The "TomTom" sound only plays the first time you switch on after a reset. A reset is triggerred by: pressing the reset button, connecting via USB or removing/replacing the SD card.
