Hi guys,

Well i got myself a globalsat 338 and tom tom 5 for my Pokcet loox 720.

Now to the problem. I have for two days tryied to make my PDA to finde the gps. the GPS Information program i got when i boutght the globalsat 338 did not finde anything. and tt5 dosent finde anything. Now 5 min ago i tryed a new program called WinFast Navigator CE and in the settings i can make a change to SiRF and com port 6. and belive it ore not it started to work. i get all the information i need, but only in that WinFast Navigator CE. when i go back to tt5 nothing and GPS Information program nothing. When i change the settings to NMEA in WinFast Navigator CE it dosent work. It only works on SiRF mode in WinFast Navigator CE.

now what can i do to make globalsat 338 work with tom tom 5 on my pda?

cheers
Astra

TomTom Navigator 5 doesn't speak SiRF any more, you have to use NMEA.

When you switch it to NMEA, specify the baud rate as 38400. If it still doesn't work, use SiRFdemo (SPGPSView on the PDA) to switch protocols.
