|
|
Hope someone can help. I have just installed POI-Edit and I am not able to connect to the above server. I get an error message "Cannot retrieve proxy settings. Probably these are set to Auto detect or Auto Config. You can set proxy settings from the Online/proxy settings menu". I have tried manual detect and that takes me to the "select website" box and I get a similar error message and then a further box appears asking me to enter user name and password. I have read the postings on the other pages re this problem but it has not helped. I am using NTL Cable Broadband and web browser is Opera with Windows XP Home. (Internet Explorer 6 will not let me download anything!!)
Thanks

Follow the troubleshooting instructions here. This should get you up and running. You will need to get Internet Explorer working though. |

Thanks for the repost of the address. I get a message saying 'Pocket GPS : Your requested page was not found' if I click on the new link or the original.
Regards, Chris. |
