Now, Please be gentle with me as I'm new to pc's, sat nav, and just about anything that doesn't need winding up with a key.
I have bought a Go 300, coppied everything to a bigger card and loaded the speed zoned camera's. The gatsos all show as speed zoned, ie 20, 30, 40 etc and I have allocated the appropriate warnings. The mobiles however just show up as 'pocketgps uk mobile'... All 8 of them... no individual speeds. The files are all sitting in the 'Great_Britain Map' folder all claiming to be speed specific... Am I missing something?
Thanks in anticipation. |

Hi badgerman,
to the forum!
You’ve done everything right, I guess you have read the following guides:
The beginner’s guide to the PocketGPSWorld camera database.
This explains about the different camera types and about categories and subcategories, so that you can decide how you want the database on your unit.
How to install (camera database) POIs onto a TomTom GO.
This guide explains how to load the PocketGPSWorld camera database onto your TomTom GO.
If you look at the ZIP file that you downloaded, there should be a folder that contains alternative .BMP files for the speed-zoned mobiles. These are the ones that I use:
pocketgps_uk_sc_oct05\alternative bmp files\Pearce 4 bit colour
Just copy the relevant ones to your map folder and you should be OK.
