speed camera database

hi peeps im new to the forum so thank you for any replys.
i just wanted to ask if the speed camera data base on this site can be downloaded an installed on my sat nav system.
my system is a sony nvx-p1 ive not seen it any where else plus im new to sat nav so not sure what to do. it is a stand alone system not pda with sat nav software installed.

On Sony's website it doesn't specify the format of the POI's.

In the manual is there any reference to importing (loading) your own POI's?

If you are able to do this, it will probably say which type of file to use. We can then take it from there.

The nvx-p1 seems to be pitched against the GO700.

The Sony is a rebadged Navman iCN650 and it runs a version of Navman SmartST software. If you have a Desktop application which you use to load and manage maps, etc., then this application should also provide something like Navman's POIEditor to import custom POIs. If so, follow the instructions for loading the camera database onto SmartST V3.
