Hi i have a Medion PPC150 all works well until the unit runs out of charge then it completely resets itself and i have to input the settings again and reload software. im thinking it may be somekind of internal battery that needs replacing. can anybody help me,

That depends. All PocketPC's (prior to WM5.0) exhibit this behaviour if allowed to run completely flat but the specification for PocketPC's requires that the OS must close down when there is only sufficient power to maintain data for 72 hours. If yours does not i.e. simple switches off and immediately resets then there is an issue. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Also, assuming that your battery is lithium ion, allowing your battery to run totally flat regularly, is the best way to reduce its life to months rather than years. |

is it the LI-IOn battery that i need to replace or is there a backup battery? sorry to ask such questions. also if it is the LI-ION where can you buy replacements from
