Hi, new to gps and all its various things so please excuse my ignorance. I have purchased a Garmin Venture handheld GPS which I am impressed with. Is there anyway I can integrate it with my Palm m130 to use as a route finder?? Any views appreciated.

Kind of. You can link it into the Palm using a suitable cable (various suppliers on the web can supply these) and set it to output NMEA data. You could then use something like TomTom Route Europe or Citymaps to provide route planning. |

Tony, goto here and search (click EDIT | FIND) for GP50.
You'll be looking for the entry that starts with GEP50 if you have the Garmin square plug, or GRP50 if you have the Garmin round plug. This will give you both ends of the cable (the end that plugs into your Garmin, and the end that plugs into your Palm m130.
You would need to setup your Garmin to output in NMEA 4800 rather than Garmin. |

They do, they also have a UK agent so a lot of the cables will be sent directly from the UK. Another website in the UK that stock these cables are Memory-Map. |
