Medion MD250 in-car charger !!

The cigar lighter plug no longer lights up and so my Medion MD250 wont work at all.Any ideas or links to wher i can get a replacement ?

Does the cig lighter work? if not change the applicable fuse in the car, if it does work then the power addapter has probably died. Does the addapter convert to a USB style connector (get another power converter 12V to 5V USB stlye plug) or is it fully hard wired - if so it will need a new cable - Mike

Thanks mikealder,the socket is working fine so it looks like the adaptor has died.It goes out of socket and two ways,one to PPC and other to reciever.Have found it at :

But the order wont accept a UK address,so any advice on where i can get one from would be much appreciated.

Try sending them an e-mail - I must admit it seems strange that the UK is not listed, alternativley try some of the suppliers listed from this site - TotalGPS for example they might be able to help out - Mike

Have e-mailed them,though dont expect a reply for a few days.TotalPDA dont seem to have any Medion accessories.

Thank you to those who replied.Thought i would take the adaptor too pieces and found that there is a fuse in the adaptor that had blown.My local MotorWold only had 2AMP fuses in that size and they work fine.Any ideas as to what AMPage the original was,no marking on it at all !!
