Connecting BT-338 to TT5 via IPAQ 2210

Hi,

Can anybody help with the above. I have purchased the Bluetooth GPS BT-338 and successfully connected it to the IPQA 2210. I am reading approx 6 to 8 satellites. However having loaded the Tom Tom 5 Navigator latest software and followed their instructions on how to install other blue tooth GPS and set it up to coms port 8, the software is not seeing the GPS device. It has been on line for some 40mins. All the equipment is new and the latest edition.
