I have bought an XDA2 from Ebay, I needed it more for my sport, however I came loaded with TT Navigator 5, including what looks like a genuine TT SD card. Now I'd like to upgrade my software on the XDA, however it seems from what I have read that you need the original activation card/number which I don't have. I have emailed the seller asking if they have it, but still waiting for a reply, so in the mean time can anyone offer advise on what I can do.
Many thanks in advance |

all you can do is wait for the activation code which is what you ned to upgrade the maps but you should be able to upgrade the application by downloading the it from the tomtom site is it vewrsion 3 or v5 that you have _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Hi
It is v5.000, I have tried backing up all the stuff on the XDA, then went to TT website and downloaded the update v5.21. ran the program etc, loaded everything onto the xda, then when I started it, I was asked to activate the maps... I'm guessing that this is the number which I need to hope the seller still has. I can't use TT now with the update, so had to reinstall the back up, its a pity as I would have like to use the poi capture software but this doesn't work with v5.000.
Thanks all the same |

I'm starting to guess that this is a cracked copy too, especially given the probs involved with updating the TT operating software. Though given the SD card has a TomTom sticker on it, you hopefully can understand my reasoning in thinking its genuine.
The SD has a few folders, main ones are... Great_Britain-Map, TomTom and Voices
Thanks |
