Hello, I hope you guy's can give me a hint as to how to solve a problem I am having with the MRoE map.
I have Tomtom5.1 running on my T-Mobile MDA Pro - WM5 (finally!!!!)
Everything is working fine, however I cannot get 5.1 to recognise the MRoE map. If I revert back to version 5.0 then it recognises the map, but however this doesn't run very well and is causing issues with the phone.
I have suceeded in getting 5.1 to work with all the other maps i use on a regular basis, UK, France, Germany etc...
The Map folder is called: TomTom Navigator 5.00 Map Major Roads Of Europe. I have tried being really basic and changing the name of the folder to: TomTom Navigator 5.1 Map Major Roads Of Europe, but as I thought this had no effect.
So, if anybody has any ideas i'd be most gratefull! Thanks

The MRE maps are only on the Plus maps from TomTom, and only one Plus map country needs to be loaded for them to show, you then use the standard maps for all other countries.
Never seen a map folder called that before, is this a legal copy of TomTom! But I stand to be corrected if so.
Isn't MRoE from TT4 or earlier? If you bought TT5 you'll have the more up to date Plus maps, which as Pocketgps said contain the major roads as well as the country map. I'll assume you have bought TT5, just install the plus maps from the discs.
