Hey everyone, I have just bought a tomtom GO 300 and I am very happy with it. One thing I was wondering about is the bluetooth connection to your phone to allow the tomtom to connect to the internet. I was wondering if I could use my computer for this (when at home of course) as I have a bluetooth connection on there. I would like to do this as it aviods the connection costs on my phone bill. Anyone that knows if this can be done please let me know :D |

No, it's configured to talk to certain BT equipped mobiles only. _________________ Darren Griffin |

On some phones with usb pc connection, once the phone is connected to the pc by usb cable, the phone will use the pc's connection for internet, i.e. not gprs. So, in theory, you can connect phone to pc via usb, then tt300 to phone via bluetooth and avoid gprs charges. |
