|
|
I am using Mapsonic 2.52 and realised some time ago that when updating POI's (ie speed camera's), its important to check the POI display and warn settings are not mucked up.
I just did the October updates, and found POI-D not changed, but POI-W was switched off for GATSO/TEMP but MOBCAMS was not affected ??
Anyone else noticed this, as it seems a bit bizarre, ideally updating POIs shouldn't affect the POI-D or POI-W settings at all, but for it to randomly affect them seems a bit weird, even for French software ??
Anyway, just a mention to check the POI-D/W tickboxes after updates so you don't get caught out ! |

In the past I have had the same problem (on both v2.5 and v3.x) but this month the problem didn't occur. The only difference this month was I used the pocketgps .asc files directly into POI Manager rather than going via POI Edit |

I have been using the asc files for a couple of months, so maybe it is something random ??
Oh well, not a problem if you know to check after updating !! |

I'd never had this problem before the October update, this was the first time I'd used the .asc files directly. |
