Is anyone out there successfully running TomTom5 on a Yakumo delta 300 GPS ?
It isn't on TomTom's compatibility list, but I've seen postings from Yakumo users on this forum. |

I asked TomTom support the same question and they told me that it's not compatible, but they pointed me towards their compatibility list, and that doesn't show it. So I suspect they're just giving me the easy answer. |

I've seen in other postings and on other forums that the Yakumo delta 300 is the same as the Mitac Mio 168, which is on the compatibility list.
Can anyone confirm that these two PDAs really are identical ? |

Hi martike
just a bit more info after looking all over the net for my first pda with built in gps i was looking at the mio 168 however i brought the delta x as it has a better speck if you have a look on ebay and find the yakumo delta x under "sat nav" it is normaly sold by monties of sheffield have a read of there page's for the yakumo delta x pda and it gives you a bit more info i brought mine direct from them and a gen copy of TT5.1 on and SD card with all the codes loaded it up and with a bit of help from this forum hay presto works great for me
If you look on www.yakumo.com site it will tell you were you can buy it in the UK. as far as monties say the yakumo delta x is the same as the mio 168 but the delta x has better speck as i said and windows mobil 2003 second edition which the 168 dose not. if you intent to get one and need any more info feel free to message me |
