The four rubber/sponge 'blobs' on the rear of the unit?
What are these for? I initialy thought they were some form of anti-slip pads for when you place the unit down on a dable etc. But the 'blobs are not on the back of the unit, yhey are moe or less on the 'shoulder' of the back (if that makes sense).
Could it bee that these are for some as yet un announces 'jacket' for the One?
Any opinions?
Oh by the way, I've used TomTom for several years (since V2) on a PDA, and this is my firse dedicated unit. I have to say this is a great piece of hardware (especially at the price from Argos). It is supposed to be my xmas pressie but the wife has just swiped it for a business trip. I installed it into her hire car (athermic screen) and was amazed to get around 6 fixes where in the past I only got 4-5 with an external antenna wired in!!
Regards,

Ahhhh, yes of course. Still seems a strange place for them.
Thanks for the tip, I'll try to make sure I don't loose them.

I'm thinking of buying one of these units, i would be grateful if you can tell me if it has any Ireland coverage, in particular Dublin.
Many thanks in advance! :D _________________ Don't follow me....i'm lost too! |
