Im a new user to this forum so forgive me if this has been addressed before. I have TomTomMobile installed on my spv c500. Generally it works fine. I have a friend with it installed on his phone (nokia 6600) and he seems to have more options available to him that i do.
The most useful feature that he has that I dont seem to have is the ability to navigate to a post code. My options are limited to Home, Favourite, Address, GPS Position, Recent Destination or POI.
I try to use Address and enter the post code in the City screen. If I type in KT22 the list displays something like
.....
KT22 0 (Surrey)
KT22 7 (Surrey)
KT22 9 (Surrey)
....
I can select teh partial postcode that is nearest to my destination but when I click Select, I move onto the Street screen where I must enter a street name. I am able to enter a street such as Regent Court GU19 5
On my friends phone he is able to use Navigate to PostCode (i dont have this option) and enter the postcode, then select from a list of addresses that are in the postcode that he entered.
Is there something obvious that I am doing wrong?
Im also unable select the type of route I want ie fastest, by foot etc |

I have a folder named TomTom on my card. It is not empty though. It contains 70 files (dll, chk,vif & exe) including TomTom Mobile.exe.
Ive renamed this folder to TomTom5 and created another empty tomtom folder but the same thing happens
