Hi I am new :D , I am considering buying one of these (i3).
I would be most gratefull if you could help me with a few questions.
How loud is the unit, can you still hear it @ 70mph?
Do you have to have the radio off or just quieter than normal? (in order to hear commands).
Should I be trying to get one now for the £160-170 offers, or do you think that they will be available at the price in the future? (after christmas makes it better for my finances)
Thanks |

As to the volume, it's plenty loud enough. By default it's set to 3 (out of 5), and that's fine. After the first run, I turned it up to maximum (5) but found that too loud, so now it's set to 4 which is more than adequate with my radio on at normal levels.
And it's perfectly fine at motorway speeds. |

I can't see how it's possible for it to drop much lower than it has. I suspect that instances of other shops dropping their price has simply been because they have to to compete.
Some places have put the price back up. |
