|
|
I have 2 maps on my tomtom ( UK and Italy )
when I swap the map I loose all my favourites and home location, so if I have everything set for the UK, I go to italy use it, when I swap back to the uk my home and all favourites have vanished.
Any ideas ? |

Have you tried to copy the file Great_Britain-Map.cfg to your desktop and removing the read only attribute? Then copy back.
If not, I suggest you get another memory card and just install the separate maps on the different cards. |

Saving favourites within a specifically created POI category seems to do the trick _________________ XDA Orbit (the best so far)

I lost all my carefully set up 'favourites' this Saturday when my PDA crashed mid-route on the way from the church where my son got married, to the reception hotel !!
I didn't have anything with me with the postcode or address of the hotel on it and I'd only been there once before !!
