|
|
Hey pepps
I have a TT Go Classic, wanted the new maps. Borrowed my freinds SD card and coppied it onto a New 512mb Kingston Card.
When I tried to access the GB Map on the go it had not been activated.....go to www.ttcode.com......and it gave me my device code on screen.
I went to the website and inputted my original code which came on the sleeve of the cd supplied with my original.....then inputted the product code..........it then give me the activation code......typed this into the GO and it says "Sorry, this is not the correct activation code for the product Great_Britain.
Why Wont it work?
Iam sure their must be a way round this, anybody have any ideas?

Why on Earth are you suprised it won't work?
The whole point of the activation code is to stop people doing this! :D |

Yes there is a guaranteed method – buy the new maps!
See the TomTom upgrade page here, for further information.

If the new maps are still full of mistakes, why do you want them. |

I want the new maps because they are ment to be slightly better than the old ones......
Whats other peoples views on this, are they much better?
Is it worth paying out the money to TomTom?

First and only warning, discussing ways to circumvent protection or otherwise avoid paying for the maps are not welcome here. if you do so again your account will be suspended. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I havn't found any errors with the new maps.......not yet anyway.
Found shed loads of massive errors with the old maps, would it be too much to ask that these have been sorted?
Have checked one road.......A120 stanstead to colchester.....or rather I havn't.....coz guess what, it still dont show on the maps.
But I travel all over the country........so is it just gonna be a matter of time before I find more glaring boobs in the maps? |
