There is a point on the M40 where my PDA drops out of TT5 ( not just greying out like when I pass the Airport) and I have to wait a little before launching Tom Tom again. Each time I do this the little hands on the tool bar move to the left one position. I can return them by doing a soft reset.
My husband has the same problem at another place on his route to work.
Someone in another thread I read suggested diabling all the TT5 POI's leaving only my downloaded on there. I have done this but it still does it.
Has anyone got any ideas.

Need more information. What hardware and GPS do you have and where on the M40 does this occur?

I have a rx3715 with Tom Tom Navigator 5 upgrade from 3 and Leadtek 9553 BT GPS receiver.
I think mine drops out around the services at junction 8 on the M40.
My husband also has rx3715 with TomTom BT GPS Receiver MKII and full Tom Tom Navigator 5 software
His drops out btween the A38/A448 island and the A38/M42 island in Bromsgrove.
Is this enough information for you to help us.
