TEchnical difficulties with Tom Tom Navigator software

Anyone outhere that can offer advice on a course of action for the following problem

I am unable to get the TomTom Navigator 5 maps working from the CDs I have been provided. I ordered them straight from the tomtom website upon purchase of my IPAQ 6515 messenger.

When I ran the CDs on my laptop I get a prompt stating "that I do have sufficient memory in my temp files to run TomTom" and when I press ok, it stops completely.

Contacting TomTom for any advice is proving a nightmare. Any thoughts guys????
