Not sure if this is possible, would welcome any advise?
I currently am running a PDA setup with tomtom 5.
I'm thinking of getting tomtom go, if I purchased an older version software with the go, could I use my PDA version 5 to upgrade tomtom go? |

why don't you just get a 300 with the "latest" maps? |

I noced you can get the older tomtom go (not 300) on E0bay for considerably less than the 300, I understand the main difference (apart from blue tooth capabilities) is the software. |

Software is the same. System software can be updated, if necessary, from the TomTom site. Maps need to be bought, or upgrades paid for. I don't think that Navigator maps can be used on the GO, until the latest version, v5. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

......and if you get an ebay GO, make sure that you get everything with it. Especially the CD and product code for the maps. Otherwise you will not be eligible for the map upgrades and will need to buy new ones. Difference between 59 euro and 169 euro. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)
