Hi all, does someone know if it is possible to partiton SD cards in Win XP pro? ( or by any othe means ie DOS etc )
If so, what do I need.
What I'm thinking of doing is:
Buy a 1 GB SD card, partion it, then compress one partion with something like SwellDisk, and install my progs on on it.
On the uncompress partition I would install TT5.
Could this work?
Will the ppc recognize the card?

Hello S,
Thank you for contacting SanDisk Technical Support.
Like all other digital media, memory cards can be repartitioned. It would be necessary to use a third party utility like Partition Magic or other similar software not provided by SanDisk. The Windows 2000 and XP installation will also allow you to delete and create partitions on digital media, including memory cards if properly detected by the installation program.
Create new partitions on memory cards is not supported by this Technical Support Center.
If you have any further problems or questions, please feel free to contact us back at any time. We appreciate your interest in SanDisk products.
Sincerely,
Giuseppina N.

Before it was suggested by Sandisk I had tried Partition magic but the program couldn't see the card. Could it be because it was in my camera, which is strange, because is a removable drive, and not in the PPC?
