I have Ipaq 6340 with Tom Tom V5 and a BT-77 bluetooth gps reciever, it works but it takes ages to find a valid signal (10-15 minutes on start up). Is this going to happen everytime i want to use sat nav? Maybe i'm being too optomistic i live in a valley, today is very cloudy and i'm testing it in my house (upstairs near window).
Anybody else have a ipaq 6340 with a BT-77 reciever? |

If this was the first time you fired up tt with the gps then it can take upto ten mins, after that 30 sec should suffice. Try starting it again and see what happens, the gps signal is degraded by heavy weather, but only slightly, also your location in a valley will limit the available coverage, give another go, and if possible this time take it outside, put it in the car - mike |
