hi, does anybody know if you use a compact flash gps receiver how do u set it up and what port setting does it use,if any?which one would be ok for a toshiba e750,thanks

What software are you using?
If tomtom 5 you need to select other cabled NMEA and Baud 4800 then select the correct port should be easy to see CF_Generic or somthing like that. (that port will only show if you have the GPS in the slot).

hi, the software i am using is tom tom 3, also would you know if a wired tom tom gps receiver should both green lights(power supply end and gps end) come on when plugged in to the supply only the power supply comes on mine. do you think the gps receiver should light up when connected to the power even if the pda is not on the other plug,it is a power lead that feeds both pda and gps,thanks

The GPS should give you a green light or flashing light, make sure the Rj11 is connected properly.

hi i have had no luck with tt3 so i am trying tt5 wired gps receiver, software installed ok, but when i plug in the power cable to the pda and gps i get a message saying "unidentified usb device" please enter device driver number or path(tt3 wired receiver),any ideas what this means thanks
