[b] Thought ID post some feed back for users of the HP 567 Jornada. I was lucky enough to be one of the original beta testers for TT and recently decided to upgrade to TT5 NAV.

I read all over and could not determine if this latest version would work on my Poc PC. My Jornada was not listed on the TT compatability page, yet I read other older PPC Users that it ran fine on their older IPAQS. So I ordered the upgrade and took a chance.

Other then the usuall TT quirks in installing maps, I was able after a SOFT Rest and rebooting my PC to fianlly get the Map CD's to allow me the option to install the maps I needed. After that all went fine.

Now to the actual real world test in the car. The TT5 NAV is working smoothly and flawlessly for me. I was very surprised as I expected problems due to the age of my Jornada 567. Overall IM a Very Happy Camper and all for a $5 upgrade fee. So far I like the many changes I see.

Thought I would let any old PPC users of the HP Jornada 567 (series) that the TT5 NAV will work just fine. Now off to play--))))) [b] Laughing

I have a Jornada HP567 and the GPS is wired and plugged into the bottom of my PPC where it normally plugs into the craddle.

I do have a CF storage card and I use it to only store the large maps I use. The core of T5S operational software is in the MAIN memory of my PPC. Hope this helps explain my set up better. IM not aware of any Wire less GPS by TT that will work with the Jornada 567 series.
