Google have started to prepare a navigation solution for the moon. Try it out (zoom in very close)
http://moon.google.com/
The site also says wrote: | ... on July 20th, 2069, in honor of the 100th anniversary of mankind's first manned lunar landing, Google will fully integrate Google Local search capabilities into Google Moon, which will allow our users to quickly find lunar business addresses, numbers and hours of operation, among other valuable forms of Moon-oriented local information. |

Immpresive, only found this today, what I would love to see is an actual picture of a landing site taken from the Hubble scope, thats about the only man made object that could map to the resolution required (not that I doubt they actually went to the moon that is), perhaps Google might want to purchase it once its de-commisioned, but I would put money on it - that it is not for sale!! - Mike |

so the next logical step would be for someone to produce a POI file for the lunar tourist, with recommended space station accommodation('') |
