I have tried loading both the single file version and the individual camera type versions of the camera database, but only cameras 1 through 99 show up when I look for them in the "Go to" menus of each poi list. In fact this screen lists these camera locations as "1 of 99" through "99 of 99". As some cameras are deleted from the sequential numbering system, location 99 is in fact camera 104. It looks as though thye navman can only store 99 locations under each file meaning that you would need to split the database into 100 line long tables in order to get them all on. With so many Gatso's in the list this could take forever! Am I missing something here?

Yes, you are missing something. Even though the list view only contains 99 cameras, all will be on your system if you have uploaded the file correctly. If you search for a camerabeginning with, say, 3 you will get cameras in the 300s in the list.

Thank you Tim. I am new to the whole Satnav deal leave alone this Navman and am still finding my way around. I must admit that after being used to the excellence of Nokia Phone menus, (another technology I know), I find the Navman a little awkward, but I wont complain as I have no other experiences to compare it to.

I currently have the descrete .csv files loaded but I guess that the easiest way to keep abreast of updates with the iCN520 is to simply use the single file. Can you offer me a reason to think otherwise? Pro's and cons?

I note that you are a motorcyclist. I will be hooking my Navamn up to my autocom intercom on my Fireblade too. Any advice apart from dont get it wet?

Again many thanks

Certainly using the single file is simplest, but I use the speedzoned Gatsos, the single mobile and all the other individual files (Redlight, etc.) just because there is more information to be had.

I have used my various GPS devices on my bikes, but have generally just put them into my map pocket and relied on visual rather than audio instructions. I am currently testing a unit with a Bluetooth audio link, though. We do have a dedicated Motorcyclists' section now though, so if you haven't already, do drop in there and ask.
