No longer have route indicator

I seem to have lost the route indicator. By that I mean the brownish colouring of the road routing. If I'm in demo mode or actually driving, I still get the instructions and the audio instructions (just changed to the new UK English version which is good)but no road indicator. Is there some setting that I might have inadvertantly changed?

There has been another report of this recently.



You could start by looking in the Properties, Advanced tab, and checking that the Route setting (under Map view) is set to "Dashed in foreground" if you want the default settings.





If that doesn't help, the answer people have come up with is to delete your configuration file and let Navigator rebuild it. Unfortunately, if you do this, you will lose your settings, including possibly your favourites (just another argument for keeping them as a POI category).



Prior to version 2.22, the main configuration file is in your map directory. From version 2.22 onwards, it's in \My Documents\TomTom Navigator Settings. Try deleting the .cfg file(s) you find there - then restart Navigator.
