|
|
With so many Pocket PCs out there, any suggestions on what to buy.
Pocket PC with integrated GPS. Suitable for driving as well as walking. Usable with USA and Europe maps. Multiple sources for maps. "Reasonably" priced unit.
It will be used primarily for GPS, but also for other uses. |

Steven, the walking would be for streets.
Amsterdam was confusing using the cities tourist map. In Rome , a gap wide enough for a person was considered a street, so therefore easy to bypass and get lost.
Thank for everyones advice. Please keep it coming. |

I am told the new Ipaq 6515 is good and has integrated GPS receiver. If you are only walking on city streets I guess TT5 would be OK for you.
Alternatively buy any PDA with bluetooth and use one of the small rechargeable BT sat nav receiver (box of matches size) in your pocket |
