New here, Garmin 10 question

Hi all-
New to this forum, and a newbie to GPS also. I've been shopping for a bluetooth receiver/software package. I read the FAQs, and read as much as I could find on the net, but I am getting more and more confused! The short question is:

Can I use a Garmin 10 bluetooth receiver with tomtom software on a Palm T3??

It seems as though TomTom has a pretty solid grip on the Palm market, but they bundle a receiver which seems inferior to the Garmin unit (shorter battery life, not weatherproof, no magnetic mount...)

Also, I use a Mac... so, if anyone has any suggestions about a good setup that will work with my hardware, I'm all ears!

No idea about your Palm setup, but I have used a Garmin10 with TTN5 and an iPAQ5555.
