After lurking for a while & several searches I have not seen this mentioned...
I have TT5 Navigator on a Palm T5.
When I set a route the route is shown a line with white dots on. They seem to be a uniform distance apart but I can't work out what the distance is between the dots.
Any ideas?
TIA
Ian

That's TomTom's way of highlighting the route. I don't think there is a specific yardage in the spacing, purely a graphical thing. _________________ Richard

Vector points, it's how the map is stored. Bascially it's just a set of points and TT assumes the road is a straight line between these points. Look at the corners you will see there are lots of points there. |

They only look like dots from a distance use the zoom to zoom in on the route and you will see they are white arrows to show the direction of travel. |

As well as the white dots there are triangles on some routes, but no idea what they represent.(Nor do certain soles at TomTom)

Are they the One Way symbols? _________________ Richard

I though they were one way/direction symbols.
Thats what they seem to have tied up with so far. |
