|
|
Just upgraded my C500 phone to 4.2.1.1 and now TT5 does not work. I have tried the things listed in CJSnet post of 24 june and nothing works. TT5 freezes my phone on the opening Legal Notice screen, the i agree button does not do anything. Have tried reinstalling the update, and then installing TT5 before adjusting anything, Reinstalling the update then bonding with GPS etc., you get the picture.
Anyway can someone help me please!!!!! It worked perfeclty before the update and now nothing. The thought of having wasted all that money is a bit much to swallow.
Anyone know how to go back to an older ROM, i have my last update file on my PC but it will only let you forward update, not backwards.
Regards

There is apparently a slight glitch I have seen reported with the new ROM and TT5 for some reason the following folder Storage\My Documents\TomTom does not always get created. Create this folder and place a file in there, it can be any file, mp3 jpg etc.
Now run up TT5 and you chould be ok again, then you can delete the file you placed in there after the first time you run TT5. _________________ Life's too fast can I get off and walk for a bit?

Thanks for this it worked a treat!
I have just re-build my phone after a drop which rendered the power button not working, so insurance it was and a new handset. Everthing working only TomTom to go and I get the freeze on the "legal notice" screen, really really did not want to start all over again.
Once again THANKS ! |
