For some strange reason my tom-tom has started to not recognise that there is a gps device connected via the in car cradle. the gps device is flashing to say its on but the screen on TT5 shows "no GPS device".

I have to unplug the GPS device from the cradle and plug it back in then it will recognise it and display the "GPS signal lost XX seconds ago" then after a few mins it picks it up and locates me.

Just frustrating why it keeps doing this now - sometimes have to unplug the gps device about 4 time's for it to work. Never had a problem picking up where i was before.

Any ideas?

Just some additional info, before this started happening i added about 10 new POI's (transferred my faves just in case i lost them and poi's can be backed up!)

But i have disabled all POI's expect speed camera's.

Disable all the POI's including the Speed Cams, use the Warn when near POI option instead, this way you still get the alerts but it significantly reduces the burden on the device (very important on this device with very limitted memory avail) - Mike
