I am using Navicore Extension Editor to convert a speed camera CSV file from this website that appears to be in correct format (according to the manual). It appears to convert OK, however the locations it shows once the extension is loaded into Navicore are wrong. I have tried putting the locations in manually by the latitude and longitude via the wgs84 location and that works OK.
Any ideas? |

I'm having the same problem - the speed camera's are in there. I can find them, they show as being in the sea off cornwall. As if the reference point isn't quite right. |

I have sent Navicore a POI file with a single point in it that shows as 50 miles west of where it should be when imported so they can analyse it. I'll post another reply when they get to the bottom of it. |

Hi, I've managed to get the file to work. Few thing I had to do, but if you want to save time, I can send you the NCE file that the extension editor outputted. I've managed to get it working on mine.
In summary, the database files come out in a different order to what Navicore is expecting - Navicore wants
Longitude, Latitude, Text
the database is in a different order. Once I'd poked about with the files I got a working file out of it. |

Thanks for the reply. Yes if you can send me a copy of the NCE file and the text file you used to create it that would be great. I am intrigued as to how you got it to work though. As I mentioned, I tried a single point POI file that was definitely in the right order and it still showed 50 miles west of where the point should have been. My email is mark@tnwsc.com.
Many thanks. |

I emailed Navicore yesterday regarding how to get the speed camera database working with Navicore and they've just emailed me back this morning but they've sent me a blank email. So that hasn't helped me. If possible could you host the file wooly it would be much appreciated. |

The ov2 format of the pocketgps speed camera database worked fine for me.
However... I had to tell it I was using the UK & Ireland version of Navicore and not the UK version. I'm pretty sure when I told the tool I was using just the UK version the co-ordinates were all wrong.

It is the UK&Ireland 2005 selection in the extension editor that makes it work. Don't use UK2005 (which is what it says on the box!) |
