Hello,
I have a bluetooth handsfree kit fitted in my car. This connects fine with my Treo 650 (palm based).
I also have a bluetooth GPS receiver.
How can I get my Treo to 'talk' to both at the same time (or at least switch between the two during calls)?
Hopefully, I won't have to go the 'wired GPS' route...
Thanks,
Charles |

As I understand it the simple answer is you can't. The Palm OS system (or the Treo - there has been a bit of debate in this forum on which) does not support multitasking in bluetooth. So it can talk to your phone kit via BT or your sat nav receiver via BT but not both at the same time. Unless an upgrade of software (if Palm problem) or firmware (if Treo problem) is coming soon you are stuffed. As I understand it one disconnects when the other connects, but don't know if it can be automatic.
Is there a wired route with the Treo - I dont know cos I haven't got one - all that I have said above was related to me by an irate Treo owner. |

So, the Treo can only do one thing at a time? |

A bit like an American President I am told - can't walk and chew gum at the same time. |
