Hi...

Last week i took my Acer N35 back to Comet as i had nothing but trouble from it..... well, i guess it was okay for the odd trip but for everyday use, i found it to be slow and restrictive. Even though i treated it to a nice ally case and screen protector (both from Proporta - good guys!) the spots on the stylus broke off making it impossible to remove from the silo, the car charger broke and the usb connector at the bottom of the unit got very intermittent (so much that it was unusable). all this after only 2 months use Sad

for £250, its a good buy for anybody who needs to make the odd trip without getting lost. but for me, it didnt work and i think this was mainly down to quality issues. Acer did eventually offer to repair it for me (after giving me the number of a local repair centre that turned out to not repair them, making me wait 30mins on hold and then telling me that i have to call another number) but a repair was going to take up to 10 working days 8O

Comet on the other hand were as helpful as they could have been agreeing to refund the full purchase price of the unit :D

Ive since bought myself an iPAQ 2410 with Tomtom Nav 5 Bluetooth Twisted Evil

You've been very unlucky, I've not heard any other bad reports about that unit so far.
