Hello,
I can currently link the Bluetooth GPS to the PDA, and the PDA can find the GPS.
However once I get into the TOMTOM navigator 5 software, the software always responds with "No GPS available".
I click on "Change preferences", "Show GPS Status" and configure to "Tomtom wireless GPS". According to the manuel, once selected the top right icon should be spinning, however it does not.
The devices are bonded together and in the bluetooth manager on PDA a link has been established.
Can you help so navigator 5 can actually detect the GPS?
Thanks,
Francis
Setup:
Device manufacturer: Compaq
PDA or Mobile model: IPAQ 3970
PDA OS version: 2002
PC Operating system: Windows XP
GPS type: TomTom Bluetooth Mk II |

Sorry to reply without offering help, but I have the exact same problem and platforms and was wondering if you were able to solve it? If so, please let me know how?
I did not upgrade to tomtom nav 5.1 yet. Was that the solution, I believe not, right?
Thanks in advance! |
