I loaded TT 5 and was dissapointed to find they had removed the ability to enter Lat & Lon details and show the position on the map. As this is important to me I was about to ditch TT5 and revert to TT3 when I saw Lutz Bendlins post with a method of reinstating the facility. Lutz explained to me that an ITN file is a simple text file which can be edited, he then said to create an Itiniary, save it, then examine the saved file, I presume modify it. Then go into TTN go to Itiniary Load the ITN file.
Can some kind person please tell this me:
How to examine the saved Itiniary in Pocket Word.
How to load the the edited ITN file back into the TTN Itiniary.
The reply may allow me to use TT 5 so that I can use the updated maps, or otherwise ditch TT and look for a Nav system that allows one to enter Lat .and Lon. which would be a shame as I have been happy with TT for the last 3 Years

I the Itinery file has the extension of .iti and is in the ITN folder. It is not possible to get pocket Word to open the .iti files. However, visit the link below and install pocketNotepad. That will open the iti files and allow you to edit them...

Thanks for both suggestions, I will try to cope when I get home to my own computer. Otherwise its back to TT 3 or dump TT altogether and look around for suitable system. Very dissapointed with whats been left out of TT 5.
