Leadtek 9532 Problem

I have tomtom 3 with leadtek 9532 wired gps mouse on a Mitac Mio 338 and ViewSonic V35.

The GPS mouse flashes RED all the time. What does this mean?
No communication with either PDA. I thought it was the connector on the base of the pda so tried my other PDA the V35 no joy.

Downloaded Leadteks GPS Navigator -no comms- so nothing- was hoping to do a reset??????

Is the Leadtek 9532 broken? Please help only had the 'thing' for 13months?

Hopefully somone will have an answer to this/or had the same thing.
Have read elsewhere that it may be the battery in the GPS has gone.
