Hi, and welcome.
The best way to start is to read this Sticky by Privateer. It will get you started on the road to loading POI.

When you've had a read of that, and if you're still stuck, come back here again and we'll take it from there. _________________ Richard

Which CD are you using?
If you want to add POIs, you need to copy the .OV2 and .BMP files (of the same name) to your map folder on the storage card.

Also don't firget that there is a limit of 40 POI categories now. If you mean by old version, TTN3, that had a limit of 99 I believe. _________________ Richard

There may be more than 40 POI categories but TT will only see 40 of them. It sees them in the order that it finds them on the card, which usually means the last ones you put in are 'invisible'.

Presuming that you have Windows, if you go into Folder Option, > View, you Untick the 'Hide Extension for Known File Types' option.
This will allow you to see the .ov2 File Extension, and the .bmp files. These are the pairs of files you transfer for POI use. _________________ Richard
