Hi All,
I would like to get i.Trek Mouse GPS Receiver for PC (USB / Serial)
running with HP iPAQ 4150. The mouse works good with PC, but I can not
get connection with PDA using PDA Cable for i.Trek.
Yes, I have all this settings on my PDA COM1/4800/NMEA, but it useless, because I even can't get red light ON on my GPS mouse. Only with laptop I can get red light (statick or flashing when getting signal from satt). I tried to run GPS autodetect from Destinator, it does scanning from COM1 to COM9, but still no GPS detected message.
I am not using any other programs on PDA, only Destinator, so it
shouldn't be a problem. I guess the problem is phisical connection
between PDA and GPS mouse. If I am wrong, please correct me.
What I do is plug PDA Cable into PDA, power plug into car sigaret lighter
socket and PS/2 femaile plug into PS/2 male plug of the GPS mouse. The
sigaret ligther adaptor getting green light, so it works in a car, PDA
getting power from a car, but nothing on mouse.
Could it be a problem with PDA Cable for i.Trek?
As I understand for getting work COM device it is no nesesarry to
install drivers on PDA. I have done all steps installation, and I got
GPSInfo on my PDA, but the "Scan Com Port" buttom gives me nothing.
GPSInfo works fine on PC.
Please, help me to fix it. |
