Beginners questions/guide?

First and foremost, I've been scouring the web to no avail for some kind of beginners guide to mobile phone gps, using a bluetooth reciever. Can anyone point me to a good guide?

My main questions are:

Assuming chosen software works on chosen bluetooth-enabled device, will any bluetooth GPS reciever do the job?

Will any reciever work with any software? Are recievers standardised?

I'm looking into buying from eBay (seem to be soo much cheaper) what snags should I look out for? If it looks too good to be true (some 16 channel recievers less than 50 quid!) is it likely there will be issues?

I'd really like a reciever+software that will work on my Nokia 6680 and on a laptop with bluetooth dongle. Is this going to be an issue? or is is safe to assume any reciever will work with a PC, its just the mobile phone side that might cause problems?

I have a ton of questions flying through my mind, but this gives a good idea of what kind of info I'm after. Cheers for any help,
