I've been using TomTom Mobile 4 on my iMate SP3i for a while now, but only came across this problem at the weekend...
What are you supposed to do if you don't know the name of a street in the town that you want to get to? I guessed a street name from the list, but that ended up being in a town 5 miles away from where I actually wanted to be. :x Sometimes all I want to do is be guided to the town in general and not a specific road or street - all my other sat nav units in the past have done this if you don't enter a street. |

You can either choose just to navigate to a town or use the browse map facility and select your destination that way. _________________ Darren Griffin |

In TomTom 5 you just choose navigate to City Centre (even if it's a village).
In TomTom 4 I believe you just put the name of the town again as the street name. |

I can see how to browse the map and navigate using that, but I see no option to just navigate to a town in TomTom Mobile 4.

Thanks for that - it appears to work! |
