older maps on tomtomgo500

I have just bought a TT GO 500 with the western europe maps, I have tried adding a nagivator 3.0 canada map, although it shows on the SD card, the TT does not show it when I try to switch maps, Any ideas ??

As far as I'm aware the Navigator 3 maps are incompatible with the GO.
