Help Please

I have bought a hp ipaq for the girlfriend off ebay, it has Tomtom navigator 5 installed but it appears to be read only if i save new home location and favourites then switch it off when i turn it on it defaults back to Fleetwood and not Central Scotland. I have a pda with Tomtom nav3 was thinking of puting it on to ipaq but version 5 looks so much better and thoughts how to remidy this please.

you have received a pirated copy of TTN5. The only proper way would be to purchase a legitimate license (you might still be able to upgrade your existing TTN3).
