I’m assuming I’m missing something as this question hasn’t been asked before, that I can see.

There are two different csv files for each cameras, (GATSO, specs, etc), although I thought they were duplicates, when opened they are laid out in different formats. Download instructions just ask me to open the "appropriate" csv file…

I intend loading them individually to get a more detailed warning, but which format of the csv do I need for the Navman 510/520?

You need the ones in \CSV\Other, not the ones in \CSV\Destinator, if that's what you're asking.

Brilliant - Thank you Tim, that is what I was trying to ask.

I'd viewed the files at one PC which didn't have that directory break in the zip file, however, when viewed on a newer PC that directory break was there.

Does that mean that there is no data to remove from the file as suggested by the upload instructions for this model?

Many thanks Thumbs Up

No - pushed submit too soon. Clearly I still have to remove the header data - in my haste I opened the wrong csv file.

Got data, transfered into NotePad, opened POI editor, save to device but 'No POI's found in input file' message.

Screen dumps on instructions are identical to what I'm seeing (nice touch the screen images in the instructions), but I get the No POI message Confused

Any ideas?

You dont actually have to remove the header data, just add a ; to the beginning of the top line, making it read

;Latitude, Longitude, "Name"

Not sure why you're getting the 'No POIs...' message. This usually occurs when you edit the file using Excel instead of Notepad.

I'll recreate the text files just in case I did something stupid, and try and load them again this evening.
Many thanks for your help Tim Thumbs Up

Cheers!

That's done it! I re-copied the csv file to notepad and it worked. For reasons I won't pretend to understand the txt file was generated with a tab spacer rather than a comma spacer <doh!>

Many thanks Tim - all sorted now!
