as the title says, my tomtom lags ( i have read they all do) and was wondering if anyone has found a cure or work around? i missed a turning with it the other day there as 2 corners were side by side so needed it to be like it was on tt3. no lag.
i'm using tt 5.10.

Two possible suggestions I have which cured my lag (and I don't know which one fixed it):
1) upgraded sd card from 256mb to 1gb
2) installed checkpoint to handle pois.
All I know is that it works as good as tt3 ever did 8O |

I have always used a Gb card and TT5 has always lagged unlike TT4. Having TT5 hide POIs does mean there is no lag - but defeats one of the best features of having POIs. |

i have a brand new fast 1gb sd card in there, i suspected the poi's were the cause but wanted others input.
these poi's are a major downfall on ttn5. most problems seem to be centres around them.
